It serves as a resource for both new and existing users to understand the various options and make informed decisions about their irrigation needs.

Agreement Information

Irrigation Acres

The Board of Directors is not accepting applications for expansion irrigation acres at this time.

At least 50% of the cost of the water rights purchased is due at the time of signing with the balance due December 31 of the year that those acres are added to the District Assessment Roll.

Irrigation acres require a legal point of delivery and therefore may require an irrigable unit or remote delivery agreement in order to supply water.

Irrigation acres can only be placed on properly classified land. For more information on land classifications, check out the Alberta Agriculture & Irrigation website.
