Payment Information for the 2024 Irrigation Season

Mailed: September 25, 2024 - The 2024 Combined Assessment (Irrigation) & Billing Notices

Irrigation Discount:

A 2.5% discount is available on qualifying current-year assessments. To receive the discount, payments must be received by Thursday, October 31, 2024.

Payment Deadlines:

All invoices must be paid by Tuesday, December 31, 2024 to avoid an 8% penalty on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

Payment Options:

Payments can be made via the following methods:

  • Cash, Cheque, E-Transfer (send to ar@lnid.ca, referencing account number and/or name) or Online Banking.

Cheque Payments:

Cheques must be postmarked by the respective due dates to qualify for discounts or avoid penalties:

  • In Person: Office hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays).
  • Postdated Cheques: Cheques may be postdated for the due date and mailed in advance. The LNID will hold and process the cheque on the postdated date.
  • LNID Mailbox: Secure drop-off is available at the LNID Office's outside entryway mailbox.
  • Standard Mail: Mailed cheques must be postmarked by October 31, 2024 for the discount or December 31, 2024 for full payment.

Important: If mailing close to the deadline, request a manual postmark from your post office to avoid delays in the Calgary sorting process.

Online Payments:

Available through the following institutions:

  • BMO Bank of Montreal
  • CIBC
  • Scotiabank
  • RBC Royal Bank
  • TD Canada Trust
  • All credit unions

Account Number: Your account number is the 5-digit number located in the upper right corner of your Combined Assessment (Irrigation) & Billing Notices.

Receipts: Receipts will only be provided for cash payments upon request.
