Golf Course Operators in LNID

Alberta remains in Stage 4 (out of 5) of its water shortage management response plan and LNID Irrigators are currently facing a 50% reduction in their allocation. This is water to grow our food. The LNID recognizes that Golf Courses rely on healthy greens and fairways to sustain a viable business. We are asking Golf Courses with LNID Water Agreements to aim for a target reduction of 15-20% in prioritizing your water use.

Every drop matters in the effort to conserve water across Southern Alberta. This suggested reduction for Golf Course water use is intended to match those encouraged by other irrigation districts in the area.
